Scams
So, I get an IM from a friend at work yesterday:
so does a '03 Suzuki Hayabusa with 1,283 miles for $5,000 seem like a good deal?
Yup. It is. Too good of a deal. Apparently someone left this classified ad in the local (Madison) paper:
SUZUKI '03 Hayabusa: LIKE NEW! Garage
Kept! Silver Only 1,283 miles. $5,000/offer email: nlneve2@aol.com Dan
Now, there's a lot of things that I haven't done, climbed Mt Everest, jumped out of an airplane, played around with a scammer. Time to scratch off one of those.
So I send an email:
Hi, I noticed the ad for the Hayabusa you have for sale in the local paper. Could you tell me a little more about it? Maybe send some
pictures?
Thanks,
Jason

Yep I just hit this guy up also. I am glad I caught your page because I was "almost" sucked in by this one...
Guess it was way too good to be true.
