Sent out the first, received the twentieth. A piece of paper sent back with the computer said they replaced the CPU board.

Got a voicemail from Dell...

... some automated voice thing from Dell saying that my parts are on backorder and my laptop will be shipped in a 3-5 business days... Fuckers.

Be very afraid. Just in case you somehow find the need to be connected while riding your motorcycle. On top of everything else, when you crash from not paying enough attention to the road, the half-helmet style will barely protect anything...

Dude, I broke my Dell.... again

Yup. It was running for about an hour this morning, then *poof* it shut down. I first thought it was the result of a software problem (It BSOD'd yesterday). Trying to boot it up, the power light would come on, stay on for 3 seconds, then shut off. The most I could get was for it to stay on with only the fans running. Damn.
